Scott Harvie established Beaver Valley Orthotics in 2002 after relocating from Oakville. Scott first established Oakville Orthotics in
1992, after having gained considerable experience in the field of pedorthics employed as staff pedorthist at the Foot Care Centre,
Women's College Hospital. As the practice expanded, so too did the need for laboratory services. Scott established SBI
Orthotic Laboratory in 1996, which became the first accredited orthotic laboratory in Canada, and one of the first to use computer-aided
technology in the design and manufacture of foot orthotics. Clients have included members of the Toronto Raptors and Toronto
Rock Lacrosse, the National Ballet of Canada and even Hollywood actors. Scott continues to act as a consultant for the lab while
maintaining his clinical practice in Oakville and the Beaver Valley.
As well as providing custom made foot orthotics, Beaver Valley
Orthotics provides various foot care products, bracing products, diabetic socks and orthopaedic sandals and footwear.
